Now -- Praise the LORD

Now is time to praise the LORD!
Now -- while present moments fly;
As, the world goes rushing on,
Ignoring the Creator on high,

Consumed with its diverse allures
With their enticing "come"
And promise of satisfation;
Yet, leave the soul with none.

Remember now the GOD of peace
WHO gives us strength to live!
Remember HE is the Fount of joy.
How great the gifts HE gives!

Think on HIS might and HIS throne --
Consider HIM -- the LORD most-high!
Set your whole heart GODward.
The worlds' trinkets, deny!

Autumn Waves

Waves of chilling air descend,
Swirl, and sweep across the ground.
Tumbling leaves are tossed about --
In the whoosh -- with rattle sound.

 And there's leaf crunches underfoot --
Part of Autumn's chorus today.
Stand; feel; and, listen a bit
To the cavorting winds at play.

Where's your knitted cap, my child?
Where's your jacket, nice and warm?
Put on socks and shoes-substantial!
Of coming winter, winds now warn.

Ah, so fresh and clean this air!
Breathe deeply in; give GOD thanks!
Brrrr! It's really getting cold.
Hot chocolate time -- methinks.

A Joyful Note

Pealing now, a joyful note
Within my heart -- I hear;
It speaks "Peace" unto me,
Of GOD Who's ever near.

It rings to me this truth again --
That, in the hours I slept,
GOD protected/sustained me --
It's by HIS power I'm kept!

Joyful note, ring on -- ring on!
Peal your message again!
Praise to GOD for blest assurance --
Praises to Almighty Friend!

 Thoughts of Winter

Will snows come with Winter's blow?
Icicles, spew from earth below?
Snowflakes, swirl and blanket ground,
Making shrubs appear white mounds?

Will ice-lace pattern window panes;
Packed crunchy snow, dress the lanes?
Metal poles, be too cold to touch?
Will Winter affect us very much?

Will hemlocks' boughs truly bow?
Will melting snow come tumbling down?
Will muffler, hat, and knitted mittens
Warm us -- as fur does for kittens?

 Will the livestock -- stabled in barn --
Stand contentedly, safe and warm?
Will the milk kine's breath arise,
Swirling, drifting off to skies?

Will our kitchens yield a welcome
To loved ones arriving home?
Will there be gingerbread cookie scents?
Chicken baking? Candy peppermints?

Ah, surely we'll all be blessed to smile
As, Winter's hours, away -- we while.
Some may prefer comfy chairs; and, read.
Others may knit for someone's need.

'Mid comforts of home, a needed snooze;
Weariness -- there -- in warmth, to lose.
Let Winter bring what GOD doth please!
HIS LOVE surpasses all of these!

HOLY BIBLE, KJV -- Luke 2:14
Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace,
good will toward men.

[The following might be sung to tune of Joyful, Joyful, We Adore THEE]

Joyful Tidings

Joyful, joyful, joyful tidings --
Peace on earth, good will t'ward men!
Tidings of our Savior born
So long ago in Bethlehem!

Joyful, joyful -- can you hear it?
Still, the sweet glad tidings ring.
Jesus -- conquering Lord and Savior,
Peace and Hope and joy, did bring!

Glorious tidings -- what a blessing!
Join; rejoice that Name to tell --
Of
Redeemer of GOD's people--
Christ the Lord Emanuel!

My Need of Christ

Needing peace and strength this hour,
LORD, in Jesus' Name I come --
Needing drink of Eternal Spring.
Have mercy, O Eternal ONE!

In need of manna for my spirit;
In need of guidance by Thy Hand;
In need again to be delivered
To see past trials of this land --

LORD, I want, I need, I cry --
Today, in spirit. Please supply!
Please wash both my heart and mind;
Guard my thoughts; shield my eyes.

Bathe me in Christ's righteousness;
Till but Grace of HIM I confess!
Holy Spirit, please instill
Godly desires to conquer my will.

Fill with Thyself, my heart's void.
Bless me, things of faith -- to employ.
Send upon me mercy showers --
Be comfort to me, all my hours.

The Constant ONE

We're up and down -- and down and up;
But, GOD is constant and ever near.
HE's more than able to deliver us,
from pain and suffering, trial and fear.

We aim and struggle and often fail;
HE speaks and His will is done.
O how wondrous is this FRIEND --

The Almighty and merciful ONE!

May HE help us to better focus,
blessing our hearts to rest in HIM.

HE's the Way of Light and Salvation --
The ONE WHO does -- o'er all ills -- win!

Treasured Tidings

Children, have you heard those treasured tidings
Which were said of angels at Jesus' arriving --
Those proclaimed first at Bethlehem --
Sweet words, "peace on earth, good will to men"?

Rejoice, reading of the Babe revealed by star
That led wise men from places quite afar
Unto the very spot where Jesus lay
Unto GOD's only begotten Son -- that day!

And, rejoice, HE remained not a babe!
HE came not to earth, an infant -- to stay.
HE suffered pain, was reviled and scorned,
Was denied by HIS friends -- was left, forlorn!

For His own HE came -- 'twas for them, HE died --
Our precious Lord Who lived a sinless life!
And, that very life HE laid selflessly down,
GOD's children -- with HIS righteousness -- to crown!

Sing, children! Exult in those tidings' of Truth!
Jesus is Righteousness for me and you!
T
he Holy Child grew in stature and in knowledge --
HE is King of kings; to HIM, give homage!

O for the blest tidings, rejoice again --
GOD's Only Begotten redeemed chosen man!
Jesus did for us what we could never do --
HE perfectly saved us! HE's forever true!

 Drizzle and Song

I walk outside where drizzle fell
In the night and dampened woods --
There's quite a hush of sorts about,
Except for birds in neighborhood.

They might be calling out their news
Of one kind or another --
A few notes here, an answer there --
None of which I decipher.

Gladsome notes this grayish dawn,
Songsters are lilting high in trees;
I only see flitting, alighting
Of silhouettes forms of these.

Charcoal-dark branches and leaves
Stand stark against the cloudy sky.
Such a painting today, overhead --
Beautiful to such a worm as I!

LORD WHO Found Me

O THOU, my great Redeemer
WHO art my Hope as well,
Praises for tender mercies
And saving me from hell!

Praises, LORD, for Thy favor;
Praises for Thy rich Grace.
Praises, dear Holy Spirit --
THOU Light for all my days!

O LORD, 'twas THEE WHO found me
In lost and ruin-ed state!
‘Tis THEE WHO e'er sustains me
And maketh storms abate.

A Little Gift

A memory of Christmas time past
Is coming to call once again
Of something that happened years ago
To one of our neighborhood friends.

The family lived near us on a farm;
The dad, a sharecropper there.
As we children rode the bus together,
Excitement seemed to fill the air.

Christmas time! School was let out.
From the bus, we walked toward home.
White Christmas gifts had been given --
Our friends had qualified for some.

Something seems ironic about it --
Expression of one gift I recall --
The younger friend said to us,
"Sister got a snot rag -- that's all."

 Little floral handkerchiefs were pretty
And common for gifts those days.
Why does this bother me even now,
Did the words or the gift hold disgrace?

 Was it akin to giving soap for hunger?
Why does it seem so? Times were lean then.
I cannot explain it - just seems to me,
A shiny apple would've pleased my friend.

Still, still this memory comes
Frequently at this time of year,
Going against the grain of my heart,
As those sad words, again, I hear.

The Great Spirit Lifter

 The evils that would overtake
Must flee by Light, must flee by Light!
Our hearts -- which would, by burdens, break --
Are comforted by GOD on high!

Storms often break upon life's main;
Count these but winds -- faith, to enflame.
For mercies, cry unto the Name
Of GOD on high, of GOD on HIGH!

 Life's storms, its winds are temporal --
Fleeting, even as moments fly.
The LORD will ne'er forsake you, child;
Trust HIM to lift your spirit high!

Let Us Hear

Dangers
 by the way so steep --
Sheer cliffs to the side!
It's so hard -- LORD, save us!
In THEE let us hide!

And, the vale is clouded, dark --
We cannot see before;
Neither can we see the sun
In the heavens o'er.

Let Thy Light shine within us --
In our hearts -- and cast out fear.
Speak encouragements unto us;
Unfailing LOVE, let us hear!

Wildlife and Frosting on the Green

A heavy frost on pasture hill,
This fair October day,
Met my gaze at daylight
In sparkling white array.

The hill was 'most blanketed
With icy wonder stuff.
I drank of the morning's beauty;
And, if that weren't enough --

Creatures stirred above the fence;
It wasn't the usual ones I saw.
First one; then, two; no, three deer --
Into place of viewing, crossed.

The creatures grazed there unafraid --
So beautiful the scene!
I watched until they walked away --
Likely, to warm cove - serene.

Christmas card makings -- one might think.
Perhaps; but, so much more to me --
An essence of beauty wrought of GOD
--W
ildlife and frosting on the green!

The ONE We Need

We need no god devoid of heart
To know of our infirmities;
Nor, an idol that must be moved --
Just gilded mortal work to see;

We need no god powerless to save;
Nor, a god that cannot hear;
Neither, a god that has no power;
But the GOD of Truth - ever near!

The Living GOD is all our strength;
HE gives breath; in HIM is our being!
We need HIS presence, HIS assurance,
HIS provision for our living.

We need HIM to guide and shield us.
We need HIM WHO is Peace and Love --
HE is the Truth, the Life, the Way --
Omnipotent GOD above!

Race to the Sea

From springs high in the mountains,
Waters rise with wondrous flow
To run through their pebbled races
Toward the greater streams below.

Dancing waters sing and leap
Down the rocky mountainside.
How thunderous -- the waterfalls
With mists reaching far and wide!

And, unhindered little creeks
Race on, race on to river deeps
Which roil along their border banks --
GOD's wondrous sea to meet!

Refreshing Sleep

Through the night, as I sleep and rest
In my room so dark and still,
The stars are shining in the heavens.
Outside, nocturnals stir at will.

Knowing my life is in HIS keeping,
Contentedly off to sleep I nod.
Weariness leaves me -- such a blessing --
My refreshing, a gift from GOD!

Have I awakened with thankful heart
For both night and sun-lit day?
Heart, consider the great Love of GOD!
'Ere morning breaks, gratefully pray.

 Delicious Potatoes

The lowly potato, a common food
That we dig from the ground,
Cooked in skillet or in oven --
A comforting food is found!

Yummy are potatoes -- mashed;
Grilled, or baked near campfire coals;
With salsa, butter, or sour cream!
Delicious -- in potato salad-cold;

Fried, golden; cooked in soup;
Used as staple in casserole;
Plattered-up with stew beef;
Or, fluffy and heaped in bowl;

Sliced, shredded, cut in cubes,
Layered, fry-cut, unpeeled - whole --
It matters not if fancy or plain --
Potatoes are delicious, I know!

[might be sung to tune of O Happy Day that Fixed my Choice]

Abide in Trust

O may our hearts abide in trust
In Christ the Way - our Hope and Peace,
That no fear may take root in us
To yield its sad and dark increase!

When storms arise; when trials come;
When drought makes impotent the land --
These are great times to walk in faith,
Looking to HIM of gracious hand.

Trust the LORD! Now, trust the LORD;
Dear child, in resolute faith, stand!
For, the LORD -- the glorious LORD
Protects us by HIS WORD and Hand!

There's armor for the child of GOD.
Prayer -- weapon for feeble ones!
How greatly we have all been blessed!
Then, in GOD's Love, in faith, go on!

Trust the LORD! Yes, trust the LORD!
Let faith abound! Let faith abound
In the Almighty Gracious LORD;
In HIM only, true comfort's found!

Compassion's SPRING

If I could comfort, then should I write
"Peace unto your soul" --
If my thoughts and words had power
To touch, to heal, .... console.

Yet, my hand with pen is impotent;
My words sink quickly as said.
Let my every thought on healing
Yield to prayer instead;

For, healing never springs of man
Whose every effort falls void.
Mortal thoughts are vain at best.
Let prayers of faith be employed --

In desires which spring from GOD
And unto GOD, return!
With Love which is a gift from GOD
And causes us, for PEACE -- to yearn.

Compassion springs from the LORD
WHO loves and heals and holds --
WHO is more than able to comfort!
HIS grieving ones -- in Peace, He enfolds.

 Praise the LORD!

Praise the LORD!  O praise the LORD;
For, HE has sent refreshing rain!
Praise HIM for His kindnesses;
Praise GOD Whose Love shall never end!

We stand before HIM -- needy ones;
We have no strength of selves to boast.
We cannot make the sun to rise;
Nor, waves, to wash upon the coast.

Praise the LORD, for HE is good!
HE's Strength, and Truth -- forever wise.
We cannot draw the mists from earth;
Nor, send one cloud across the skies!

In adoration of GOD, rejoice!
HE's more than worthy to be praised!
O thank HIM for His endless Love!
Give thanks for life and breath and days.

So many blessings! So much to be thankful for!
How we ought daily give thanks to GOD for life and for our children!

Blest Heritage

And, can a greater wonder be
Here on earth, like that of life?
Who can perceive its mysteries --
Secrets owned of GOD on high?

What blessings have we to compare
To children -- gifts of GOD to man?
Nothing else so touches the heart
Like love of a tender newborn can.

May we always cherish our children,
Nourish and guide them -- while we can!
Let heart-felt thanks rise unto GOD
For blest heritage of HIS hand!

The LORD is Good

The LORD is good! Can you hear it
In the sounds of falling rain?
The LORD is good! O believe it --
Only of HIM is life sustained!

We know that GOD never fails --
HE has brought us to this day.
None can stay HIS powerful hand --
Of Love and Peace, HE is the Way!

GOD is good -- child, rest in this!
Lay those heavy burdens down.
Be not anxious about the future--
Trust HIM with glory crowned!

Stand and Listen

Stand, stand O child and listen
To the rain now falling down!
Stand a while and consider
How it seeps far into ground,

Giving drink to the deep roots
Of the thirsting, wearied trees.
Think of how the springs are fed
With good rains such as these.

Consider well and give thanks
That GOD provides for us also;
HE is both Life and Supply.
Praise HIM, as we onward go!

Look Deeper

When all about you seems but trouble,
Look deeper, child - - - deeper, within,
When you're met by trials here,
Seek peace of your indwelling FRIEND.

Look beyond your fragile form,
Beyond all weaknesses and doubt.
Seek for deeper TRUTH; seek GOD;
Search HIS promises out.

Remember, HE's not the author of fear.
Confess, "O LORD, I yield to THEE
Cares beyond my strength to handle;
Be THOU the answer is my plea."

Autumn Has Come to Call

Ah, the bright October skies!
The cool refreshing breeze
And acorns pelting to the ground:
Season's blessings, these.

Leaves spinning, floating down.
Pumpkins' blazing orange;
Fresh apples, sweet potatoes a'plenty;
Barns bulging with hay storage:

These things make the heart to sing - - -
Of manifold blessings of GOD.
The step quickens - - - a bit lighter
,
For Autumn has come to call!

Gold of Dawning

The early morning mists are golden,
Hanging softer than a breath
To the East - - - a beautiful dawning!
But, no such appears to the West.

I stand still and breathe and wonder
At this scene, soon to be gone.
No Midas touch, it's of the MASTER,
Beautiful wonder near my home.

Golden moments, worthy of notice!
Soft and hovering, the golden air
Before me, a lowly mortal
Awed at GOD's wonders here.

Turned to Praise

How the white and billowy clouds
Turn my heart to praise
Of the Creator GOD of wonders
WHO so graces our days!

And, how the song of rippling brook,
Rising sweetly on the air,
Speaks to me, to all who'll hear,
"GOD is present everywhere."

The beaming sunflower's happy face
Against a bright blue sky
Tells me to rejoice in GOD
WHO rules and reigns on high.

The busy and droning bumblebee,
Chunky insect, marvel of flight,
Reminds, "all things are possible with GOD
WHO is Life and Love and Light".

Consider if You Will

I see the willow's lovely tresses;
I look at ferns' beautiful fronds;
I see cattails regally standing
In edges of swampy bogs;

I hold a seed in hand and plant it
In the soil moist and dark;
Then, I watch it sprout forth and grow;
This, I ponder, with awe in heart.

I hear the lilt of gentle stream;
I observe eddies graced by light;
I'm staggered at thundering waterfalls;
 I'm awed at a rainbow's sight;

And, at birds' gracefulness,
As they're winging, winging away
Over the tree tops, in the heavens,
Or skimming o'er waters of a bay.

Life and Light, Stream and Strength:
I ponder these things in heart:
How could I trust in any other
Than GOD WHO, faith, imparts.

Consider root and trunk, twig and limb,
Leaf, and blossom, and seed.
Then, let us praise the Living GOD,
Creator, Displayer, Sustainer of these!

Southern Preoccupation

We sat with our ice cream and coke float
Just down from the fudge factory,
Observing a creature busy at work,
As it scurried, then crept busily.

In front of the parked cars, it appeared,
On the walk under pecan trees.
Using normal "squirrelly" caution,
It would find a nut and then flee

Around the corner, turning North,
Back to its nesting place somewhere - - -
Maybe in the old sycamore tree,
Whence started "Festival Bear on the Square".

Anyway, back to our preoccupation.
"Look! Look, Grandma!" Abby exclaimed.
There, on the side of a pecan tree
A squirrel was frozen like a picture framed;

With neck stretched and head sticking out,
He held a big ole pecan in his mouth.
He stood so still, he really looked fake,
Till he dared to venture on down and out.

A white-haired lady, stooped with aged,
Bent down a bit and spoke at the squirrel.
"That's a big squirrel" she spoke to us,
As she traversed our world.

Toads are Feasting Tonight

Daylight was fading quickly away,
As I was in my garden at work
Setting out collard and broccoli plants - - -
Not thinking what creatures might lurk.

Twilight time, I was just finishing up
And something soil-colored moved;
Or, rather, hopped two or three times.
My eyes adjusted; my vision improved.

Just a foot or two from me, sat a toad - - -
A small one, about two inches long.
He blended so well with the ground,
I almost thought I might be wrong.

I finished my work and made my way up
Through the side yard when something moved.
It hopped away from me toward the house.
It discovered me first, it proved.

At the driveway, I spied even another
Sitting in the middle of my path.
This one, I thought to step over,
But it hopped away as the others had.

The toads are having a feast tonight.
Do they know that cold weather comes,
That soon the gnats and mosquitoes
Will be hidden away or gone?

Plops and Whacks

Plops and whacks in the woodland
All about me I can hear,
As the acorns drop to leaf mold.
Sounds of some hitting branches are clear.

How's the air?  Cool and still.
From the vale below, mists arise
To hover over shrubs and ground,
Till time to dissipate to skies.

Kitty somehow hears my stirrings
And races from side deck around
Till I can see her on the railing
And hear her meal-demanding "meow!"

Breakfast! Breakfast! Dog's a'wagging.
Thus the stillness of morn is gone.
Time to feed pets; then, myself;
Time to attend to routines of home.

May GOD bless you today!

In the Hours of Night

What has GOD done for us
In the quiet hours of night,
While we slept, oblivious - - -
Without conscious thought or sight?

What healings did HE perform?
How many cells did HE renew?
Our lives, as ever, are in His hands;
The resting, we're blessed to do.

What wonder, when we're weary - - -
Worn out by the end of day,
GOD gives refreshing in the night
And strengthens us for the way.

Listen

Listen! Listen. Do you listen
To the music of the trees?
Hear the weeping willows whisper
With their swaying in the breeze.

Do you hear the white oak's rustle?
Can you hear the hemlock's sigh?
Listen to the maple's flutter.
Autumn winds are sailing by.

Listen! Listen to the music.
Hear the birds and droning bees;
For, soon comes the barren winter;
When we won't be hearing these.

Winter does not sigh as Autumn;
Yet, her song has highs and lows.
Long and lonesome, harsh at times,
Her winds sweep from regions cold.

 Winging Above

Winging high above in "V" formation,
The Canadian geese now southward fly.
Sometimes we hear their herald song,
Before we can see them in the sky.

I stand and wonder at their beauty
And migration instincts they possess.
It's mind-boggling how they navigate.
GOD made them "good", I confess.

Good and very good! Beautiful,
Honking heralds of Spring and Fall!
How I wonder at GOD's creation!
At HIM of all wisdom I'm in awe!

Chim-chur-ee

Chim-chur-ee! A small bird sings
Outside my window this autumn morn.
Just how might its notes translate?
What message on the air is borne?

Joy, for one thing; perhaps praise
Of the Creator GOD on High.
The bird has hushed now; has it gone?
To warmer climate, does it fly?

I'll miss the singing of the birds,
The crickets' and cicadas' song,
When they escape the colder weather,
And, I know it won't be long.

Ah, but I know autumn joy too.
I like the cool refreshing air;
I enjoy the changing of seasons
And leaves ablaze everywhere.

Chim-chur-ee!  Time rolls along.
Chim-chur-ee!  Autumn has come.
Chim-chur-ee!  Weather is changing.
Little Chim-chur-ee has flown!

Praise for Thy works which stir and awe.
Praises for those in secret done.
Hearts' praises to THEE we employ!

Our praises, LORD, be unto THEE.

A Family Blessed

Across the miles we share our thoughts,
Our prayer requests, our heart's desires.
We're connected - - -  a family, in spirit,
Children of ONE WHO never tires.

We have been made kindred in Christ
By the washing of His own blood,
A family blessed to know His favor,
Chosen, redeemed, a royal priesthood.

Our FATHER neither slumbers nor sleeps;
We know His Love shall never fail;
HE promised never to forsake us;
HE's most merciful, almighty as well.

What measure have we for GOD's Love?
How, compare it to physical things?
By HIM we have Life instead of death,
Grace and Light, and Peace HE brings!

Life's Stages

Stages of life here come and soon go.
A tiny baby eats, and sleeps, and grows.
The toddler searches his environs out;
The child runs, plays, and races about.

Then, comes a time to begin school,
To study, make friends, enjoy arts and song too.
Young teenagers are a'swirl with change,
As, their interests begin to be rearranged.

Nearer adulthood, most consider their lives:
What jobs, what opportunities shall arise?
They work at their studies; they hope and plan.
Soon graduates, the young lady , the young man.

A time to forge ahead and leave familiar home!
Some go off to college to meet the unknown.
Still other options are chosen by many:
Employment; military; there's work a' plenty!

Young love? It's often found by this stage;
Couples are married or perhaps just engaged.
Next, children may be born to families new;
Moms and Dads develop parent's views.

Oh my, has middle age come and, so soon, gone.?
No children here. Ours have families of their own.
And, not only that; theirs are growing up too.
Where has the time gone? At rocket speed, it flew!

Old aged now, senior citizens, we're called.
I'm silver haired; and, he's a little bald.
So, grow, tiny babes!  And, little ones, play!
On life's stages, you're already on your way.

I reached the grandparent stage,
which I enjoy, a few years back. :)

Gifts of GOD's Love

We're greatly blessed with gifts of GOD:
Refreshing rains; crisp clean air;
Needed sunshine; starry nights;
Food and drink, and clothes to wear;

The Love of GOD enveloping us;
Our safety, wholly by HIS might;
HIS voice of peace to comfort us;
The rest HE gives to us at night;

HIS kingdom wherein we are blessed
With Hope surpassing trial and tears;
HIS holy WORD in which we find
That HE is not the author of fear;

The truth that Jesus Christ is Lord
And Savior of all those He was given
Before the foundation of the earth;
And, that He'll carry them all to Heaven.

Unnumbered blessings, ours to enjoy!
Then, may our hearts overflow with thanks
Unto the ONE WHO loves us so,
Unto GOD WHO excels every rank.

Strength of the Helpless

When man discovers he's helpless,
Then, as ever, THOU art strong.
If one thinks he's self-sufficient,
Thy wisdom proves him wrong.

As tribulations come against us,
Save us by Thy perfect strength.
Be merciful to us yet, LORD;
Deliver us from evils at length.

We thank THEE, omnipotent LORD,
For blessing us all our days.
For protection and provision,
Unto THEE be all praise.

Life is of THEE

We live by Thy might, LORD.
None other has the power
To deliver us from evils
And sustain us each hour.

We're safe in Thy care, LORD.
None can stay Thy Hand,
Nor snatch us from THEE.
Safe in Thy Love we stand.

Our healing is of THEE, LORD;
Altogether of THEE.
By Thy life-sustaining presence,
We live, move, and breathe.

Thanksgiving and praises be unto Thy Name!

How Should We Live

Ruined - - - worthy to be thrown away
Or burned to utter oblivion!
Surely, ruined would be our state
But for the Grace of GOD of Heaven;

But for the love of His dear Son;
But for His life, death, and victory;
But for His atoning blood
Which cleansed us and set us free - - -

Free from death we rightly deserved;
Free from a yoke we could never break;
Free from all condemnation of sin,
Which, upon Himself, Jesus did take!

Then, brothers and sisters, how should we live?
As prisoners to the law of sin and death?
As if the Lord's work be not enough?
No! as new creatures, His praise on our breath!
