MODERN-DAY ISRAEL: WHERE ARE THE TRIBES?

Psalm 89:34 my covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. 35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. 36 His seed shall endure forever, and his throne as the sun before me. 37 It shall be established forever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. 2nd Samuel 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as formerly. If all or part of this is true, then where are the other 9 or 10 tribes who dwell in a place of their own, not afflicted by their former enemies in David's times? And where is David's throne? Jesus sits on "His Father's throne" not David's (Revelation 3:21). Jesus will one day sit on David's throne. But at the present some earthly man or woman, descendant of David, must sit on it now. The Bible states that only Judah was left in the land. Levi was not really counted as a tribe in this way as landowners. The law explains why. Sometimes when Levi is listed in a list, then the tribe of Joseph is called Joseph. If Levi or Dan (why Dan is left out is guesswork), then Joseph is broken up into Manasseh and Ephraim. Simeon is left out in Deuteronomy 33. The reason will be given later. The number of the tribes is always 12. With that in mind, here is what has been reported in quite a few reliable sources, in books of the traditions of various nations and archaeological findings. I want you to notice the Royal Line of Britain (ITMS November 2007) and look at it as you read the rest of this. Remember what God promised David by Nathan and also Micah 2:13, "and their king shall pass before them, and the LORD on the head of them." Also Hosea 3:4, 5 may have deeper meaning. "For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince… verse 5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return and seek the LORD their God, and David their king;"
First the Dannites were a restless bunch from the beginning. Deodorus states that they began to move to ships in pre-bondage days in Egypt. [Skelton: Deodorus Siculus, 1956] They discovered the Phoenicians at sea and were first ship hands through which they then learned the routes to Tarshish, either Spain or Britain and eventually to the American continent as early as 1000 BC or before. This fact is something you will find in NO American history book. Even the Vikings (more Danites) were on the American continent long before Columbus, yet we still only date European arrival to Columbus and the average young student may not even know that date! The Phoenicians and their Danite companions left their markings all over the mountain cliffs, rocks and dry rocky, riverbeds as they moved their craft up the Mississippi River, the White River and Missouri. They left evidence of the visits of Celts (Danites), Libyans, and Punic-speaking Iberians. One Basque king had visited the heartland centuries before Christ. They also left their markings in the rocky New England area, where stone is a fixture of the landscape. They used a type of writing that was called Ogum, a somewhat coded alphabet in which a long line was scored on a large rock or boulder and the lines vertical to this horizontal line were scored with sharp instruments, the word taking shape according to whether the vertical line was above or below or striking through the horizontal. It was similar enough to ancient Phoenician that it was at one time thought to be Phoenician. Also how many such vertical lines were made before a space determined the word meaning and syntax? Many such writings have been overlooked for a long time and you might run into one some day. It was only found in the 19th century in the USA that it was a written language but showed up all over Ireland and England and was reported by the Brits in the late 1700s but then we weren't on good terms with England at the time and the British quarantined such publications from England. The language stems from Celtic and means "grooved writing." There are 15 consonants and 5 vowels and a few special strokes were for diphthongs. The letters are constructed from parallel strokes placed in sets of one to five, in positions above, across, or below a guideline. It was used in ancient Ireland of the first Millennium BC. It grew in sophistication from the above description and the nature of the ones found in the Americas, places it as most ancient, and back to at least 1000 BC. Columbus and Leif Erickson didn't discover us! At the top of the next column is an example for fun.
This was found on Turkey Mountain, near Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is what we do all the time; leave our names on something to say, "Killroy was here." This one was written in two languages, Ogum and ancient Punic or northern Iberian Punic. This man's name was Gwynn a favorite and common Celtic name. It meant white or fairhaired. The Punic below is Payaa, which also means, "white" and close to the Arabic 'BYAA, also meaning "white." If you are wondering, it and thousands of examples like it are not forgeries. There are ways to detect that. They are the real thing and date back to 1000 BC and beyond. The earlier Celts were never exposed to the Greek language. If you are interested in seeing more of this, you should get Barry Fell's book, America B.C. It is also interesting that once the Celts did begin to write in Greek, they wrote it backwards, like the Hebrew, right to left! This is an interesting story in its own right, but I must move on.
If you doubt the ability of the Celts to ply the high seas of the Atlantic in 1000 BC, then you have Julius Caesar's word for it in 55 BC. He described the huge tall ships with sails and oarsmen, who could look down upon the decks of his much smaller ships and shoot their arrows down at his crew. Caesar states in Book III of De Bello Gallco that these Celtic ships were so soundly construc-ted that they could outride upon the tempestuous or contrary winds very ocean itself without sustaining injury." [America B.C., Barry Fell, 1976]. If you want to go back to about 1300 BC, you will find Deborah in Judges complaining of the tribe of Dan remaining in their ships while the Israelites were at war. (Judges 5:17). These ships were large enough to live in then!
That these early Celtic (Danite) explorers had an effect on this country 1000 BC is abundant in these writings all over the USA. The Indians were affected. One Shoshone Indian traveling in the Basque country of Spain recognized Shoshone words there, including his own name! And the meaning in Basque was ALSO the same as Shoshone. You will find another interesting American Indian connection in the comments below concerning Naphtali. In addition there was a tribe in New England found to practice circumcision long before the days of our forefathers came here in the 17th century.
That the Dannites were the Tuatha de Danaan (literally meaning tribe of Dan) and were in Ireland as early as 1000 BC is pretty well certain. They were the invaders that overthrew the Firbolgs (who were also of Hebrew origin) and then the Milesians from Spain defeated the Dannites. [Mac-Manus, The Story of the Irish Race.]. It is probable that the Dannites were responsible for the writings. The rea-son is logical. Jacob stated in Genesis 49 that Dan would judge his people. Now we know that judging was done by the Levites. What did "Dan will judge his people" mean then? A judge has as his primary responsibility, to identify evidence and mark it as accepted for purposes of a trial. Dan has really done a remarkable job of judging in that context. Everywhere the tribe of Dan went they changed the name of the place. In this way Dan truly carried out his destiny, marking the evidence of Israel with his name, Dan, the very name meaning, “judge." The first time this is recorded in the Bible is in Joshua. When the Dannites who had stayed with the tribe were settled on the coast, they felt they were cramped and asked permission to move north. They did so and then renamed the place Dan after their father Dan" but the name of the place before was Leshem. [Joshua 19:47] That is why you see Dan marked on the maps of your Bible in the south and again in the north. From here they migrated up the Mediterranean Coast, associated themselves with the Trojans and are found in the stories of Homer as the "dedani." They moved across the waters into Europe, leaving name after name in the likes of Danube River, Dniepper River, the Donn River, reaching eventually the northwest coast of Europe to DEN-mark, Swe-DAN, and the tagging of DN in the form of dan, din, don, or dun to every town name became traditional, ev-en when no Dannites were around to urge it, such as Lon-DON. You can look up names and will see the pattern. Dan truly marked the paths, ("He shall be an adder", Genesis 49; an adder leaves a path on sand or dirt where he moves by the sidewise nature of the movement, like the southwestern sidewinder rattlesnake). Perhaps why Dan is left out of the names in Revelation 7 is that Dan will identify the others again acting as the “judge” of his people, Israel, and seat them on the "jury." That is just a thought. Of course God can do it easily, but God loves His prophecy. He is a master at it with no equal, yet Satan keeps trying to beat God. STUPIIIIID!
Simeon is the next one in the list and follows in this order because of similar reasons. It is historically obvious in the Bible that Simeon never occupied his territory south of Judah. He was placed in this position because of Genesis 49: 8. Because Simeon and Levi had slain a large group of Hivites in Genesis 34, (rightfully so in my opinion) for the rape of Dinah, their sister), Jacob stated let them never be "united." There is another incident that occurs between Levi and Simeon in Numbers 25, when God had ordered the Israelites to stop cohabitating with the Midianites. This had been Balaam's only help to Barak, that is, to get the Midianites women to entice the men of Israel and therefore dilute their power. In the face of this order a prince of the line of Simeon, walked into camp with his girlfriend, a Midianite. Phinehas of the line of Levite priests killed them both. This controversy is not mentioned again, but one wonders if it had lasting influence on Simeon. It is noted between the numbering of the men of fighting age from Numbers 1 to the second numbering that the total number of Israelites only changed from 603,550 to 601,730, and some tribes gained a little and some lost. But no tribe changed as drastically in losing numbers as Simeon. In the second numbering they had dropped from 59,400 to 22,200, a loss of nearly 2/3rds of their men. There is no evidence that anything happened to them out of proportion to the others that would explain that. I suspect that what happened is that they left in large numbers and took to the ships of Dan and the Phoenicians perhaps as result of lasting antipathy towards Levi. Further evidence of this is that Simeon is for some reason left out of the blessings to the tribes in Deuteronomy 33. Secular history of Britain indicates that a large number of Simeonites lived in southern Wales, Brittany, Belgium, Devonshire and Cornwall beginning their migration as early as 1500 BC, almost the exact time of the Numbers 25 incident The wilderness period was from 1453 to 1413 BC. At any rate, they never occupied their land to the south of Judah. The few who were left went to where you would expect. They were accustomed to camping with Gad and Reuben while in the desert wanderings (Numbers 2:10-16) and that is where they went. From there they gradually mixed with the Syrians or left in the ships of Dan and the Phoenicians are lost to Biblical record. If the numbers are followed this way, I think it is safe to say that they became seafaring people and wound up in the south of the British Isles.Gad and Reuben were taken with the half tribe of Manasseh in 739 BC by Tiglath-PileserIII. Any Simeonites left in that area would have been taken at that time also but the Bible mentions nothing about it. The two and one-half tribes and possibly some Simeonites were settled in the area of Lake Van. (See map). They along with Gad are likely to be the ones known to the Assyrians as Bet Kumri, and the progenitors of the Cimmerians. The Cimmerians migrated to the west of the Caspian Sea, probably accompanied by some Simeonites. From there they would be pushed northward after 721 when the next wave of captives came to the south of the Caspian Sea. These new captives would be known as the Saki and Scythians. They pushed the Cimmerians northward into southern Europe. Another possibility is that Gad, Reuben and Simeon stayed with the half tribe of Manasseh as they moved north and east of the Black Sea. The half tribe of Manasseh did go into this area to be joined later by the rest of the tribe of Manasseh and Ephraim in 721 BC. Here Herodotus knew them as the Massagetae and they were shown by archaeology to be the progenitors of the Egli and the Angi.
The Massagetae were reported to have pushed the Saki or Scythians to the north and east of the Black Sea. Many of them settled beyond the river Araxes and it was in this location that Cyrus the Great met death trying to subjugate them. From there the Massagetae moved west and south and in the time of Josephus, most of them were in Thrace known as the "Keltoi." The rest remained farther east as the Egli and Angi and moved north with the Scythians who would become known as Saxons (sons of Isaac). The western Getae in addition to the Cimmerians became known as Gauls in the 4th century BC. Also they were the Gauls who were the Galatians of Paul's ministry. They also sacked Rome in 390 AD as the Goths or Visigoths to give you the idea of the span of time of their influence, from the 5th century B C through the apostolic age to the 5th century AD. The Francs brought the Goth's dominance of Europe, Thrace and Macedonia to an end in the 5th century AD. If Josephus was aware of the origin of the Galatians, I am sure the apostle Paul was also aware. Jesus' directions to go "to the lost sheep of the House of Israel" may have had more literal meaning than thought.
Issachar is given a blessing of being a "strong ass" and bear burdens and become a servant unto tribute. Little else is said of that tribe except they assembled beside Zebulun in the wilderness, and their lot was also contiguous to Zebulun. They probably journeyed together after the capture by the Assyrians. It seems that Issachar is included with the blessings of Zebulun, shortly following Zebulun in Genesis 49 and Deuteronomy 33; "Issachar is included in the going out with Zebulun." We have some interesting claims about Zebulun and I will assume from the above that Issachar is included with them. First in Genesis 49:13, it is stated that Zebulun will live by the sea and be a haven for ships, but their lot placed them inland between Asher on the coast and Naphtali and Issachar to the east. They had no seaport of importance. The seaports of importance were north of Zebulon's land at Tyre and Sidon and isolated from Zebulon. Yet they are blessed by Moses, saying, "they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and the treasures hid in the sand" (Deuteronomy 33:18). Where did that happen? It certainly did not happen in their lot. There was certainly no sand or seas in that mountainous area where they might find hid- den treasures. Another interesting prophesy and statement of fact in Judges 5:14 that states, "and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer." It would then appear that they were more involved at that time in writing and publishing than things of the sea. Or, maybe they did both! Here is how. Here is a really blockbuster.
Holland has claimed through their historians for a long time to be descended from Zebulun! Now if there were ever a people who have reclaimed the sea and developed fishing to the art and an industry, they are the Hollanders. They have truly "sucked of the abundance of the sea", having reclaimed the sand of the sea by levee and locks and dams and their windmills. Also a good bit of oil is coming from off shore in the North Sea. If they did have these tendencies and interests in writing, is there a connection there? It turns out that the Gutenberg press was really invented in Holland. There was a great dispute over that when the Germans stole their idea and took it to Gutenberg. The World Book Encyclopedia supports this statement. Caesar knew these people as "Belgi" in his day.
Asher is an enigma to me. It to me. It seems it should be easy to find them inductively, but no one that I know of claims to be descended from Asher. Deuteronomy 33:24 states that, Asher will be blessed with children and will "dip his foot in oil." That could well mean they are a rich nation in the oil industry and if so, then need to find some nation that is making a killing off of the petroleum industry who also has roots from the Lost Tribes. In Genesis 49, it is stated that "his bread will be fat and he shall yield royal dainties", Whatever that means. The only way we will find them is through inductive reasoning. We know this; that the early settlers of the Netherlands were a people called Belgi, in 100 BC and were Celtic. We have already placed Zebulun there by traditions and the inductive process, and it is probable that Issachar was with them. I wonder if Asher might be there too since they were close to each other in Israel.
When I first see the word "dainties", I think female, and I think especially in dress. I think lace. And when I think of lace, I picture princesses in the books of my childhood wearing lots of lace. It turns out that the largest manufacturer of lace has been Belgium. Italy and Belgium developed the art in the 1600's and were about the only producers until the industrial revolution in the 1800's. Belgium is one of the few places where lace is still available handmade, and it is some of the finest and most sought after. Belgium also produces a large portion of the world supply of fine linen. When I think of oil, I think of Shell Oil Company with Standard Oil next. The home base of Shell Oil is the Netherlands and is known as the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company. They in cooperation with the London based Shell Transport and Trading Company, have had the largest share of this market for years. Royal Dutch in my 1988 Encyclopedia had sales of 82 billion dollars a year, only led by General Motors and Exxon in this country by 96 and 87 billion dollars respectively. I would say that is "dipping your foot in oil." Belgium and the Netherlands sit over one of the largest natural gas deposits in the world. They also have a population density that can only be compared to metropolitan areas of the USA like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Combined they have a population of nearly 30 million people in an area less than ½ the size of the state of Mississippi. Now I would say that they are "blessed with children." The final as "blessed with children." The final aspect of Asher was that he would be acceptable to his brethren.
It should be pointed out here that true freedom of religion was first to arrive in Holland. It did not and has not come to England as most would say. There are things that you can be imprisoned for in England if you write them. King James I did not have the Bible translated to English for freedom's sake. It is widely reported in his comments that the real rea-son was to get the Geneva Bible out of the hands of the English. It was the Bible of the Pilgrims. The English people liked it for its marginal notes. King James par-ticularly hated the marginal notes in the Geneva Bible that were contrary to his “divine right” as king. For instance in the margin of Exodus 1:22 was written by followers of John Calvin and Knox, "When tyrants cannot prevail by craft they burst forth into open rage." Good as it is, the KJV Bible might be truly called a "government publication."
That the entire world has wound up with its focus on Brussels and world government is no accident. These are the most accommodating people in the world and the world's money supply is controlled there and if things continue as they are now they will be the political center with no superior. Their generosity may also be their downfall. They have in modern days accepted all sorts of social mores including homosexuality, marriage of homosexuals, freedom from law with any drug use and so on. They also have allowed their population to become more Muslim than any other and that is causing serious social upheaval. So I suspect we could by inductive logic put all this together and say that Asher went to that area with Zebulun and Issachar. The distressing message from Holland though is the total loss of Christian influence, the open homosexuality, government supported narcotic and other drug use and the disregard for the sanctity of life to the point of rampant euthanasia and abortion. Of course the European continent in general has shown the same proclivities and the Church is dead as a doornail today.
