ELDER GUY HUNT DIES
June 17, 1933 — January 30, 2009
Elder Guy Hunt, former Governor of Alabama, and a member of Gum Pond Primitive Baptist Church at Holly Pond, Alabama, after an extended illness, died on January 30 and was buried on February 4, 2009.
Elder Hunt was twice Governor of Alabama, having served well in the midst of persecution from his opponents.
At age 75, Elder Hunt died of lung cancer following an extended illness.
