WHERE RECOGNITION IS DUE
Elder Louis Culver
"And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's..." - Mark 12:17.
We often fail to give credit where credit is due. This may just be an oversight or it may entail a greater degree of negligence. Whether it is intentional or not, we ought to be careful to give credit to those who deserve credit.
Let us consider our military personnel who daily place their lives in danger for our protection. When was the most recent time you thanked a particular military person for his or her contributions to our safety and our welfare?
Let us consider the company that prints "In The Master's Service." For several years Metropolitan Printing in Sumiton, Ala., has printed ITMS. Mr. and Mrs. Conner have been extremely helpful in this endeavor. They have been very prompt in getting the printing done. As a matter of fact, whenever I take the copy to be printed, they print it that same day. What other printer could I expect such a quick turnaround time?
Both Mr. and Mrs. Conner have been extremely ill for some time now, and because of that they were not able to print the February issue of ITMS. It was necessary for another print shop to print it. This printer had to work my print job into his own schedule. He was not able to give the same turnaround time that Metropolitan Printing had been able to give. For this reason, the February edition of ITMS was mailed two weeks later than it usually has been.
I want to thank Mr. and Mrs. Conner - Harold and Jean – for their dedicated service in regard to my printing needs. I also want to thank Mike Forbes for his part in getting the February issue of ITMS printed for me. Harold and Jean have become very dear friends of mine and I now count them as a very special part of my family. Thanks, Harold and Jean.
