GRACE IS A GIFT
When a man works an 8-hour day and receives for his efforts 8 hours' pay, that is a wage.
When he competes with an opponent and receives a trophy for his superior performance, that is a prize.
When he receives something in recognition for his meritorious service or achievement, that is an award.
But when a man can earn no wage, can win no prize, and deserves no award - yet receives such a gift - that is unmerited favor. That is undeserved kindness. That is grace!
